CUSTOM MATTING

These highest-quality matboards can be used to compliment or enhance your Artwork—as well as the surrounding décor.

Most Artworks utilize either one or two mats (single or double matting)—consisting of a main mat usually two inches to three inches wide (or any width that you wish) and a ¼-inch wide accent mat. And, of course, you can frame your Print or Poster without mats.

Please note the mats are placed up against the actual Artwork. In other words, any borders on the Print or Poster will be covered by the mat—unless you request otherwise. Of course if you decide not to use mats, you may want to show the entire Print or Poster, which includes the borders.

As always, please feel free to contact our Customer Service consultants to discuss your mat preferences, or if you would like our suggestions. If you decide to place an order, our expert framers will then mat the Artwork according to your specifications.
