Chicago’s Palaces
Titled SECOND HOMES … CHICAGO, this is the inaugural
print from The Greatest-Scapes sports art company celebrating the sports venues
of great sports cities. SECOND HOMES … CHICAGO
is part of the “Evolution History of Team Uniforms” framed print series.
Depicted left to right are Chicago Stadium, Guaranteed Rate
Field (shown as U.S. Cellular Field), Wrigley Field, Soldier Field, Comiskey
Park and United Center.
The title of course brings home the fact these venues are not
only the homes of the Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs and White Sox—but are more
so the homes of their fans. “Friendly
Confines” that are forever regarded as second homes in every heart and mind
whether standing or no longer standing.
Created by artist David Crighton, each venue is drawn in his
distinctive style with meticulous detail.
You will note a splash of two colors have been applied to each
venue. The colors represent principle
team colors from each team’s history.

justice to the meticulous detail of the actual print.)
